Art. 3

  1. The goals of the Union are the following:
    1. Preserving the independence of the judicial authority, an essential prerequisite for the proper functioning and legal guarantees of rights and freedoms of the people;
    2. Preserving the constitutional and moral position of the judiciary;
    3. Widening and perfecting the acquaintances and the culture of the judges by a correlation between their contact with their colleagues from other countries and to permit buitlenlandse organizations and their operation, and the rights abroad, especially in their application ;
    4. The study of some legal problems in the community to make sure, except the interest on the national, regional or world, the best solution to this problem;
  2. These goals are followed by The funds the following:
    1. Organizing conferences and meetings of committees;
    2. The exchange of cultural reports;
    3. To promote and intensify friendship between magistrates reports from different countries;
    4. Improving mutual help between the associations and national groups, the intensification of information exchange and facilitating training for magistrates and holidays abroad;
    5. By any other means approved by the Central Council.
